Hi Guys!
The latest release of AutoCAD Civil 3D has been out since early 2nd Qtr of this year (2009). Much has changed and in my opinion its the most powerful release so far.
User interface wise, it has adpated AutoCAD 2009's Ribbon. No more pull down menus and floating tool bars, replaced by the Tabs and Panels that are pretty much arranged according to your workflow. For those who can't seem to grasp the coolness of the Ribbon, they can still show the Menu Bar thru expanding the Quick Access Toolbar just beside that "C" icon (C is for Civil 3D duh!).
Feature wise, new things are added. Intersection Design Wizard, parcel creation enhancements, Hydraflow Add-ons, Quantity Take-off Manager, Field-to-Finish Survey tools and so much more.
